A refreshed brand identity for a rehabilitation
centre in Auckland, New Zealand

Higher Ground Papa Taumata provides rehabilitation programmes that are based on 12 step recovery principles and evidence based therapies in Auckland, New Zealand. Using strategic insights facilitated by our workshop team, I was able to derive a creative concept around duality and ascension which I used to craft an all-new brand identity. 

Design Rationale

I centred the Higher Ground brand around concept of duality, light and dark, reflecting the journey from addiction to recovery. The designs feature stepped layouts, varied font weights, and a colour palette with light and dark tones. These elements embody the brand’s name and purpose, honoring the duality and growth that is intrinsic to the Higher Ground experience.
